Description Responsible for supporting the strategic and business planning processes for Emory Healthcare and the Woodruff Health Sciences Center through research, analysis, and maintenance of data and information, and preparation of reportsThe position supports the activities required to maintain the data sets needed for preparation of reports and analyses used in strategic planning and market analytical efforts to support the development of strategic and business plans for Emory Healthcare and Woodruff Health Sciences CenterThis position is a key consultant for the use of data in strategic planningIt is expected that 100% of the efforts of this position be devoted to strategic planning and market analyticsThe role requires attention to detail, technical database skills, critical thinking, and analytic skills to ensure that data meets the needs of the project teamThe successful candidate will demonstrate problem solving skills, the ability to gather, analyze, synthesize, and interpret large amounts of quantitative and qualitative data into organized, clear, concise reportsSuccessful candidates will have the ability to juggle multiple project deadlines and use project timelines, work plans, and tools and know when to ask manager(s) for guidanceCandidates will work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with the members of the project team

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

A masters degree in one of the following fields is required within 6 months of hire (healthcare administration, business administration, or related field (MHA, MHSA, MBA, MPH, MS in data or informatics fields)Two plus years healthcare experience preferred, preferably one year experience compiling and analyzing data in a health-related field

TECHNICAL SKILLS: 

Demonstrated SQL proficiency; proficiency in MS Access, and proficiency in MS Excel
