Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Planning Control Manager to join their team. As a Planning Control Manager, you will be part of the operations team supporting various departments. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, effective communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Planning Control Manager

Location: South Point, OH

Pay Range: 25.00-30.00 per hour based on experience

What's the Job?

Support execution activities to meet the needs of internal and external customers by managing shipping and scheduling activities. Collaborate with customer service, demand planning, and plant personnel to coordinate efforts in meeting customer demand. Manage finished goods inventory, ensuring key metrics such as cycle count accuracy and Days on Hand (DOH) are attained. Create and implement a systematic rework process while managing scrap and rejects. Complete daily/weekly/monthly reporting on critical process control measures to sustain ongoing process integrity.

What's Needed?

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, Word, and Excel. Experience in working towards Lean production and knowledge of MRP and ERP systems in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment. Three plus (3+) years of experience in supply chain, inventory, scheduling, and shipping within a manufacturing environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to solve problems effectively. Experience leading inventory management planning performance metrics.
