Job Summary:
The Planning Procurement Coordinator will provide a high level of administrative support to ensure customer, team member, and vendor satisfaction. The Planning Procurement Coordinator does this by providing administrative support necessary to achieve corporate goals. The Planning Procurement Coordinator completes these functions in the support HP Hood’s operations and the warehouse/distribution of dairy and dairy related products.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain product production schedule. Planning and procurement of bulk liquid. Vacation relief of planning and procurement. Coordinate the procurement of support material. Responsible for maintaining purchasing and inventory control systems. Manage cycle counting program – including explanation of variances. Assist in periodic and scheduled audits to ensure accuracy of inventory data. Mange contracts and quality assurance issues. Provide procurement services for Production and Processing. Analyze, correct and enter daily data collection systems as needed for department. Maintain accurate files. Back-up team members as needed. Set up and maintain all raw material deliveries (schedules). Maintain minimum stock dollars. Enter finished goods production. Create and maintain weekly reports. Understand and respond appropriately for basic to complex employee, vendor, and customer inquiries. Various tasks involving the responsibility of the food safety and quality of company products.Education and Experience:
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Two years of college with emphasis on business and two years of procurement experience. Experience may be substituted for education. Basic understanding of General Accounting and Finance. Excellent math skills. Advanced computer knowledge (word processing, spreadsheets). Ability to work well with people. Multi-tasked individual.Physical Requirements:
