The **Planning & Replenishment Manager** works as a key liaison between sales, supply chain within the BIC organization, and our customers. This role oversees (but is not limited to) open stock and promotional orders, inventory reporting/management and customer relationship building within the customer supply chain. The Planning & Replenishment Manager is both a customer facing and an internal support role managing order and inventory flow for a key retail partner. All aspects of this role tie directly to increased sales performance and overall customer satisfaction.
**What You’ll Do:**
+ Manage order/inventory flow for the customer
+ Identify current and potential in stock and OSA opportunities
+ Deploy proactive solutions to eliminate lost sales
+ Analyze DC/Store/item level inventory and customer forecast to ensure in stock and OTIF objectives are met
+ Provide clear indication of potential supply disruptions or opportunities related to inventory, with recommended solutions
+ Manage customer relationship to manage day-to-day operations and alignment on future ordering and supply chain strategies.
+ Ensure promotions and new items sold in from account managers are shipped/received OTIF to maximize success rates
+ Support sales growth and drive operations efficiencies, working jointly with the Account Team Lead and Demand Planning.
+ Develop internal forecast by SKU/Item and partner with internal demand team to ensure accurate product availability to support the customer forecast
+ Create reporting and evaluate data, cultivating connections between key metrics; share, sales, price elasticity
+ Support Leadership with revenue recognition reports based on lead times/customer delivery times
+ Monitor and adjust customer lead times by each BIC/Customer DC.
+ Support all other aspects of logistics/supply chain for the Club Teams.
**Projects You’ll Work On:**
+ Manage root cause identification and process improvement mapping
+ Support and develop reporting (within Power BI and/or 3rd party analytic provider) to provide customer insights
+ Partner with customer teams to develop strategies and action plans to improve supply chain productivity & optimize replenishment settings
**What We Are Looking for In You:**
+ Bachelor’s Degree required or relevant equivalent experience in the planning/replenishment field
+ 5-7 years of related replenishment or planning experience (direct to retailer and/or vendor managed VMI) is required
+ Consumer Packaged Goods industry experience or CPG Retailer experience is a must
+ Ability to travel as needed to customer meetings (locally) and to the West Coast (2-3 times per year on average)
+ Strong Excel skills (pivots, lookups, formulas)
+ Experience using Retail Link/Luminate, Madrid, Unify+, or PowerBI is preferred
+ Strong analytical/research skills, strong communication skills and a strong sense of urgency is a must
+ Ability to synthesize large data sets and analyze data at the item level (understanding the high-level implications)
+ Ability to identify and resolve issues independently
+ Transportation or Logistics experience is a plus
