Planning/ Scheduling Supervisor

**Job Description**
+ Facilitate the development of Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) that will guide program execution and serve as the basis for Earned Value performance, using Microsoft Project and Open Plan. Ensure schedules are accurately and fully resource loaded, using correct logic, and interdependencies are maintained through entire lifecycle.
+ Serve as Subject Matter Expert supporting program execution and coordinate key critical planning support by possessing a thorough understanding of US DoD schedule policies and Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS) requirements.
+ Develop EVMS cost reports, and monitor budgets for all applicable projects in execution. Provide weekly data analysis of project performance.
+ Identify risks and trends using common schedule Metrics (DCMA 14pt, Schedule Risk Analysis, EVMS data driven metrics, etc.), suggests corrective actions in a timely manner and supports implementation. Utilize performance and health metrics analyses to drive actions resulting in improved program performance.
+ Assist program management by monitoring SPI/CPI performance and preparing schedule status reports for customer and/or business management reviews. Provide in-depth EVMS analysis on variances, trends, and slippages.
+ Acts as an advocate for SR, customer, industry planning, scheduling guidelines, and procedures by conducting presentations, training, and other informational sessions with business and program management personnel.
+ Ensure that 100% of customer-required schedule and CDRL data delivered on time.
+ Recommend and lead scheduling process improvements. Drive efficiency and commonality within SR.
+ Analyze effects of projects upon various areas such as Crafts, Subcontractors, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources. Formulate and recommend corrective action measures such as schedule revisions, manpower adjustments, fund allocations, and work requirements
+ Provide supervision and daily support to other program schedulers. Review government submittals for accuracy, ensure timely project development and resource loading.
+ Maintains staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting, and training employees and developing personal growth opportunities.
+ Serves as consultant and external spokesperson for the organization on significant matters relating to policies, programs, capabilities and long-range goals and objectives. Or serves as an advisor to senior external personnel on significant technical matters often requiring coordination between organizations.
+ Develops advanced concepts, techniques and standards. Develops new applications based on professional principles and theories. Viewed as expert in the field within the corporation.
**Required Education, Experience, & Skills**
+ Requires a Bachelor s Degree in any business, operations or technical field of study; or equivalent experience, and eight (8) years of planning/scheduling experience; or a Master s Degree and six (6) years of related experience.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
+ Strong verbal, written and presentation skills with experience communicating and presenting financial data to other functions in an accurate, concise, and understandable manner.
+ Experience developing Integrated Master Schedules (IMS) for project execution.
+ Experience implementing schedules on multiple Earned Value Management (EVM) programs.
+ Experience with schedule risk analysis and DCMA 14-point assessments.
+ Understanding of DoD acquisition and program management processes
+ Knowledge of project management best practices.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain DBIDS.

8 Years with HS
6 Years with AA
4 Years with BS
2 Years with MS
**Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills**
PMI-SP Certification Preferred
EVMS knowledge Preferred
U.S. Naval Ship Repair experience desirable.
**Pay Information**
Full-Time Salary Range: $73778 - $125422

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
