Our client is seeking a talented Plans Reviewer/Estimator to join their team. Position Overview
As a Plans Reviewer/Estimator, you will play an essential role in evaluating construction plans and providing comprehensive cost estimates for projects. You will review designs using tools such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Revit, ensuring accuracy and efficiency while identifying critical project needs. Your solid understanding of construction processes will help drive successful project planning from concept to completion.
Key Responsibilities
+ Analyze construction blueprints, drawings, and specifications to provide accurate cost estimates and recommendations.
+ Work collaboratively with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure all project requirements are considered.
+ Utilize AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, or related design software for project planning and review.
+ Prepare and present detailed cost estimates, including materials, labor, and timelines.
+ Evaluate potential issues in plans and projects, offering solutions to support project goals.
+ Conduct thorough research on costs, suppliers, and materials to help develop competitive bids.
Qualifications
+ A minimum of 2 years’ hands-on experience with design software such as AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Revit, or related tools.
+ At least 2 years’ experience in the construction industry, with a solid understanding of project workflows, materials, and labor estimates.

Requirements • Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role within the construction industry
• Proficiency in using AutoCAD, Bluebeam Revu, and Revit software for design and estimation tasks
• Demonstrated abilities in architectural plan creation and layout drawings
• Experience in design architecture and architecture design
• Proven track record in the purchasing department, managing materials and supplier relationships
• Strong skills in cost estimations and preparing detailed proposals
• Familiarity with the entire construction process and its complexities
• Ability to review and interpret construction plans effectively
• Good understanding of building codes and regulations
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy in work
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field is preferred.
