The Construction Clerk is based in Jamesville, NY and reports directly to the Sr. Construction Manager. **HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL GET TO DO** + Provide administrative support for Construction Management and Field Supervisors. + Coordinate with construction crews to ensure PPE is available to all employees. + Track equipment utilization + Code and process vendor invoices. + Complete payroll & timesheets for up to 10 employees weekly. + Cross Train for the many duties of the Construction Administration Office. + Coordinate with the shop mechanics to complete preventative maintenance orders, assist with parts orders, and purchase orders. + Learn and put into practice safe working practices and compliance with all policies and regulations; as well as identify and assist in correcting unsafe conditions **HERE’S WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** + Intermediate level proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel + Knowledge of JDE business system is a plus + High school diploma or equivalent required; 2 yr. degree preferred + Knowledge of NYS construction prevailing wage system and NYS DOL construction criteria. + Solid organizational skills + Demonstrated ability to multi-task and flexibility to adapt to changing business situations + Strong communication skills, both oral and written **Work Environment** + Role operates primarily a professional office environment, but requires conducting business at manufacturing locations and job sites where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, humidity, and elevated noise levels. **What we have to offer** + Competitive base salary + Highly competitive benefits programs 401k retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions **External candidates must be able to work in the USA without sponsorship.** **Employer Statement:** Equal Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / Disabled
