If you are an experienced Plant Control Engineer looking for a position with a leading company, Bartech can help! We are a leading staffing firm and our clients include some of the biggest companies in the nation. Our client has a need for a Plant Control Engineer. This is a contract position; however it is not uncommon for assignments to transition into permanent positions with our client companies. Applicant must be eligible to work in the US for immediate opening. For this opportunity, the successful candidate will be directly employed by Bartech Staffing as a W2 employee while providing services to our end client.
Plant Control Engineer
Job Responsibilities
Your specific duties as a Plant Control Engineer will include: Compensation (Range): / hour:$46.00 -48.00 hr. Use plant monitoring software to review cycle times of machinery, review and follow up machinery project's and installations • Troubleshoot PLC, robot, and other machinery problems • Update program backups for machinery • Program new installations of machinery and conveyor systems • Reprogram machinery for engineering changes and improvements

Job Requirements
As a Plant Control Engineer you must represent our company well by being responsible, punctual and motivated to go above and beyond the call of duty. You must also be highly detail-oriented and organized with excellent analytic and problem-solving abilities. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Fundamental working knowledge of PLC logic and controls - Siemens and/or Indramat PL7 o Electrical Background (electrician or technician) o Related experience o Siemens and Indramat servo and VFD drives o Familiarity with VFD’s, Armor starts, encoders, network/Ethernet controls Experience Required: 2+ years of related controls and debug experience Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Ability to independently troubleshoot equipment and continuously evaluate equipment for improvement for quality and delivery o ABB robot experience o Microsoft office including excel, powerpoint, word, etc. o Ability to read prints, AutoCAD, interpret and modify electrical schematics o Ability to read blueprints
