This role is responsible for production of periodic financial reports, maintenance of an adequate system of accounting records, and a comprehensive set of controls and budgets designed to mitigate risk, and enhance the accuracy of the company's reported financial results; This role also serves as a consultant for managers within the organization, advising them of budgetary information and working with managers to create a fiscal strategy that aligns with the goals of the organization.

Highlights of your role Present monthly financial statements to management, providing insight on financial trends and finding opportunities for financial improvement Manage the company's cost accounting data including establishing proper bill of material costs and ensure accuracy of transactions to the appropriate income statement accounts Lead month-end and year-end closing procedures and preparation of financial presentations. Perform account reconciliations and manual journal entries needed. Ensure the financial statements are completed timely and accurately Support the financial needs of the operations management team through reporting of metrics and other financial analysis, providing recommendations  You're a good fit if you have (or if you can)

Proven analytical and problem solving skills, computer skills, and written and oral communication skills

CMA or CPA certification
