Plant Controller
Responsibilities: + Complete financial analysis to monitor costs and financial position in key areas + Analyze plant income statement and inventory transactions to identify issues, report on performance and drive continuous improvement + Develop annual plant budget and periodic forecasts + Develop and review designated plant balance sheet account reconciliations. + Daily, weekly and month-end activities as required to ensure a complete, accurate and timely close process + Create and post financial/statistical journal entries + General ledger maintenance/transactional processing + Review freight, purchase, cost center and other account coding and various other reports/data for exceptions and accuracy + Monitor and review asset additions, transfers and disposals; ensure complete and accurate supporting documentation + Process debit/credit memo transactions and inter-company transfers + Prepare sales and use tax returns and provide support for federal, state and local income & property tax returns, as applicable + Conduct bi-weekly payroll audits + Conduct annual fixed asset audits Qualifications: + Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance + 5+ years of progressive experience as Plant Controller (or equivalent) in a manufacturing environment + Experience developing and leading annual budget, periodic forecasting and monthly closing process + Experience developing and analyzing complex financial models + SAP experience strongly preferred About Aston Carter: Aston Carter provides world-class corporate talent solutions to thousands of clients across the globe.
