What we're looking for:
The Plant Controller is a first-level manager who will use their knowledge of industry practices and standards to manage the budgets, forecasting, and strategic planning required for their assigned plant. This role completes general accounting projects and oversees audits, reconciliations, and analysis of capital projects.
What you'll do:
Serves as a member of the plant management team to maintain the integrity of the plant’s financial statements as well as support plant management on business decisions. Accumulates, interprets, and evaluates plant production and shipping data required to develop standard cost and/or efficiency measures. Oversee standard financial duties such as reporting and auditing on daily production, conducting monthly end closing duties, and reporting on annual operating budgets. Prepare weekly and monthly plant financial reports and forecasts. Consults with plant management in functional areas of the plant to gather information concerning production, inventory, efficiencies, and payroll. Work with the plant team to track and drive productivity across all departments. Review and reconcile plant raw material, WOP, MRO, and finished goods inventory. Oversee audits, reports, and duties of direct reports Perform other duties as needed.
What you need:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred. 6-8 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience. 1-3 years of management experience.
