Description We are seeking a Plant Controller for a new manufacturing facility in Pocahontas, Arkansas. As a Plant Controller, you will play a pivotal role in implementing and maintaining financial controls, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and providing financial leadership for the site. This role is offering $120,000-$140,000 DOE. This is a brand new facility! This is an exciting opportunity to join a Plant at the ground floor, build out your team, and join a fastly growing company! Responsibilities: + Establish and enforce robust financial controls across the facility. + Oversee the financial reporting process, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. + Analyze financial performance, identifying areas for improvement. + Manage month-end and year-end close for the site, ensuring all deadlines are met. + Lead efforts to reduce slow-moving and obsolete inventory, keep inventory lean, and drive inventory accuracy. + Develop and improve reporting utilizing available systems. + Work closely with the Director of Finance to formulate project plans and budgets. + Coordinate with other departments, including Sales, Production, Purchasing, Shipping, Customer Service, and Technical Services. + Maintain awareness of individual contribution to and impact of quality, safety, environmental, and product compliance policies and activities. + Report all quality issues, unsafe acts, and unsafe conditions to the proper personnel.
