Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Plant Controller to split time between the US and Mexico. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks related to plant-level financials, operational analysis, and financial controls. You will be interacting with plant management and collaborating on cost reduction opportunities.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the monthly accounting closure and preparation of plant-level financials in accordance with US GAAP.
• Contribute to public company filings with the SEC.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, banking, and payroll tasks.
• Conduct daily operational analysis on mineral processing at facilities to identify waste, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
• Carry out a comprehensive analysis of production costs, material consumption, and inventory levels.
• Cooperate with plant management to implement cost reduction opportunities and increase profitability.
• Perform financial analysis on payback and MIRR of new equipment and track to ensure benefits are achieved.
• Guarantee adequate financial and operational controls to ensure output is timely, accurate, and exceeds Sarbanes-Oxley standards.
• Handle invoicing/Facturas through SAT and bill payments.
• Manage filing for and receiving IVA Tax Refunds and annual tax return.
• Oversee customs and importing goods for the plants while ensuring compliance with Mexico rules and regulations.
• Undertake other job duties as requested by the CFO.

Requirements • Proficiency in 3M is essential for this role.
• Familiarity with Accounting Software Systems is necessary.
• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is a key requirement.
• Knowledge of Eaton is expected for this position.
• Proficiency in Epicor is a significant advantage.
• Ability to handle various Accounting Functions effectively is required.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.
• Ability to prepare and manage the Annual Budget is expected.
• Prior experience in Auditing is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with Budget Processes is essential.
