Plant Controlling Manager

 

Reporting directly to the Business Unit Director, the Plant Controlling Manager will oversee all financial activities of the plant, ensuring efficiency, compliance, and strategic alignment with business goals. This role includes managing a team of 3 professionals and collaborating across departments to drive financial excellence.

 

Key responsibilities   Act as a key partner to operational leadership, providing financial insights and recommendations. Oversee general accounting, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations. Lead controlling and financial reporting activities to ensure accurate and timely data for decision-making. Prepare financial forecasts, budgets, and performance analyses to support strategic planning. Ensure correct costing for produced goods and services. Approve the quotes for the Engineered-to-Order new equipment. Closely monitor the treasury position, anticipate external financing needs (from the group). Manage the relationship with the local bank and approves payments to suppliers, payrolls and taxes. Manage the Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) processes. Coordinate internal and external audits, ensuring adherence to regulatory and corporate standards. Develop and mentor the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

 

You bring these skills, experience & education   Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Proven 5+ years of experience in financial management within a manufacturing environment. Solid knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standards). Strong leadership skills with experience managing teams Excellent command of English (written and spoken), Spanish language desirable. Solid knowledge of financial systems, ERP platforms, and Excel. Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Decision - drive   SIG competencies
