In this role, you will be responsible to provide design, troubleshooting, and project management of HVAC and Utility systems. The individual will serve as a team member on project teams as well as manage capital projects. The person will also provide support of maintenance and system improvement efforts with respect to HVAC and Utility systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide facility maintenance and engineering support for HVAC and Utility systems, including air handling, dust collection, compressed air, chilled water, hot water, and steam systems. Help to maintain a “state of control” over HVAC and Utility systems by assuring maintenance of as-built drawings and system documentation. Assist in the development of standard operating procedures for maintenance and operation of HVAC and Utility equipment. For capital and upgrade projects, support the project manager in project drawing and design reviews to ensure site specifications and standards are met, and that good engineering practices are followed. Manage capital improvement projects, including defining user requirements, estimating budgets, construction management, and commissioning/qualification. Track energy consumption for HVAC and Utility systems Regular and predictable onsite attendance and punctuality and intermittent 24x7 on-call duties. Able to climb a 6 foot ladder.

Bachelor's or Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field 2+ years of experience in areas of Engineering design or operation Experience with HVAC and Utility systems in an industrial environment. General knowledge of HVAC equipment specification, duct design, room pressure control, filtration systems, psychometrics, and industrial ventilation. General knowledge of pump systems and piping design. Demonstrated ability to be an active participant on teams. Demonstrated proficiency in computer skills as a business tool, specific work experience using Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and AutoCAD.Preferred Qualifications:
Previous pharmaceutical industry experience.
