Plant Engineer The Plant Engineer is responsible for providing engineering oversight for all facility operations, equipment and systems. This role oversees site PSM, PHA, mechanical integrity inspections and testing programs and ensures all plant systems and processes meet engineering standards and safety requirements. \n
\n

Essential Functions & Requirements: \n\nPrioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all times\nUtilizes knowledge \/ experience and partners with production and maintenance to improve plant process reliability and develop a preventative and predictive maintenance strategy\nMaintains and updates site drawings as changes to the site are implemented\nCoordinates with site management regarding planning and production needs \nDevelops and implements energy cost reduction and efficiency initiatives; partners with plant management or other operational departments to improve overall facility performance \nPrepares engineering designs and cost estimations of plant modifications or upgrades\nSupplies technical input on safety issues and standards \nSupports troubleshooting for operational processes and identified system issues \nServes as project manager for capital projects and complex maintenance initiatives that require contractors and supports the development of contractor requirements, process studies and improvement options \nPrepares reports documenting facility activities that align with and satisfy regulatory requirements \nServes as a subject matter expert in the preparation of permit applications and \/ or modifications and responds appropriately as needed \nTakes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organization \n\n

Education: \n\nBachelor's degree in engineering or engineering technology (required); mechanical specialization (preferred) \n\n
\n

Experience: \n\n3+ years of engineering experience within an industrial plant operations environment (required) \nPrevious supervisory experience (required) \n\n
\n

Competencies: \n\nThorough knowledge and understanding of all Federal, State, and Local laws and regulations pertaining to the environmental services industry and engineering standards\nProficiency in manufacturing processes with strong problem-solving and project management skills \nExcellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and develop quality reporting\nStrong ability to influence and collaborate with teams in and outside of the engineering department \nProactive orientation with a focus on continuous improvement and organization \nAbility to manage complex and aggressive project schedules and deliver results on time and to specification\nGrowth orientation with a willingness and desire to invest in individual and organizational development and improvement\nRegular and predictable attendance to perform the functions and requirements of this role\n\n
