We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Plant Engineer to provide overall leadership in the design, construction, commissioning, and maintenance of all facility systems, including building, infrastructure, and utilities. As our company expands, this role will also lead and manage the opening of a new manufacturing facility overseas.
Responsibilities
+ Direct oversight of the Maintenance, Facilities, Setup, and CNC departments, as well as current and future buildings.
+ Manage and develop staff, facilitating their growth within the organization.
+ Provide direction and leadership in all plant engineering activities including site master plans, automation, capital projects, and equipment commissioning and validation.
+ Motivate, recruit, and develop key employees, fostering a culture of efficient execution and continuous improvement.
+ Manage external professional engineering and other outside vendors for equipment, facility, and utility modifications, upgrades, or expansions.
+ Lead and support activities to ensure successful completion of Engineering projects within set timelines and budgetary constraints.
+ Ensure all facility systems, utilities, and equipment are properly maintained for efficient daily operations.
+ Support the development of a state-of-the-art Preventative Maintenance program and respective KPIs.
+ Create and upgrade Engineering and Maintenance procedures, providing training to ensure continuous improvements.
+ Review and negotiate contracts with third-party contractors and equipment manufacturers to protect operational and legal interests.
+ Work with the legal team and stakeholders to ensure contract completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
+ Coordinate activities for the timely and efficient repair and maintenance of all process equipment and facility systems.
+ Support Value Improvement Program (VIP) and Cost Improvement Program (CIP) to achieve project savings.
+ Accountable for Engineering and Site Capital Project budgets.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required - Electrical/Mechanical preferred
+ 10+ years of experience in manufacturing-based industries in Engineering, Maintenance, Facilities (HVAC, Utilities, Structural, etc.)
+ Experience in the Medical Device industry, with FDA and ISO experience
+ Experience with automated robotic welding, utilities engineering, and Lean manufacturing

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $125000.00 - $135000.00/yr.
