Your Skills and Expertise To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications: + Minimum of one (1) year completed in a two (2) year technical degree program in a maintenance related field. Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: + A basic understanding of shop equipment including hand tools, saws, drill press and welding with a willingness to learn + Possess a high regard and understanding for workplace safety and housekeeping practices. + Excellent mechanical aptitude is critical, as represented by academic performance and past experiences.
