As a plant learning specialist, you will:
Coordinate delivery of training programs. Updates training materials and supports leadership in execution. Ensure consistency and accuracy of training materials. Partner with subject matter experts to provide input for course content. Prepares training outlines and lesson plans relevant to the training material. Schedule, track and maintain training programs. Takes direction from appropriate leader regarding training needs to meet business objectives. Works with leadership to develop implementation plans to ensure that training initiatives are met. Coordinate with other learning specialists to develop programs and create best practices. Works with leadership to ensure that course materials are current and relevant to training needs. Facilitates on-the-job training and ongoing process improvements. Track and analyze training programs by examining learner satisfaction levels, proficiency testing, and job performance. Recommends and may implement suggestions for improvements. Use document control system to create and/or update operating procedures and other technical documentation. Work cross-functionally as needed with representatives from EHS, QA, PRO, and other departments. Communicate as needed with staffing agencies that supply contingent workers. Understand and follow established safety guidelines, programs and procedures; and actively works to prevent safety incidents. Support food safety, legality and quality programs. Maintain product quality through adherence to good manufacturing practices, Food Safety Preventative Controls, product specifications and quality procedures. Perform other duties as needed in support of business objectives and Starbucks Mission & Values. Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.We’d love to hear from people with:

Experience with document control systems Familiarity with food safety regulatory requirements and global standards including Preventive Controls for Human Food (FDA Code of Federal Regulations) and the Global Food Safety Initiative (GFSI). Experience with the GFSI certification schemes (i.e. BRC and/or or SQF).

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.
The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
