Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees. **What You'll Be Doing** + Perform regular maintenance, including greasing, cutting, welding, andservicing air/pneumatic systems. + Maintain and repair conveyor belts and conveying systems. + Assist with troubleshooting and repairs of electrical and automated batching systems (a plus). + Operate a front-end loader to supply the batch plant with aggregates and other materials. + Travel to various facilities as needed to support operations. + Follow all Heidelberg Safety protocols. **What Are We Looking For** + Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills. + Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints. + Effective communication and teamwork abilities. + Proficiency in using hand and power tools. + Commitment to safety and quality standards. **Conditions of Employment** + Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check. + Some positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testing. **Work Environment** + Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level. **What We Offer** + $27.57 to $29.57 per hour. + Benefits through the Union for Medical, Dental, Vision and Pension. + Union paid vacation, sick leave and holidays.
