This full time, permanent Machine Repair Factory Maintenance Supervisor is at an employee-owned, debt-free machined metal product job shop. The company has consistent growth and has not had a layoff since 2008. Employee tenure is ten years as the employees are valued and treated like family. Employees are not bored here as there is a lot of variety to the work a person can be doing. Employee career growth is unlimited here. Several of the members of the top management of the company started as laborers on the shopfloor.

 

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs for all equipment to ensure operational efficiency. Establish and enhance the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) metric to optimize machine uptime and performance. Offer direction and support to the machine repair department employees on a day-to-day basis. Lead continuous improvement efforts, focusing on cost reduction, inventory management, and other operational needs. Allocate resources effectively to support operations and ensure smooth machine repair operations.

 

The background of the successful candidate must include the following:

A high school diploma or Associate’s degree in business, or a comparable qualification. A minimum of 10 years of relevant experience or a combination of education and experience demonstrating expertise. Proven experience in managing employee performance. A solid work history A US citizen or possess a green card A residence within 45-minutes
