Plant Maintenance Technician **Prairie Farms** 1 Positions ID: 8867 Posted On 02/06/2025 **Job Overview** Responsibilities include maintaining and troubleshooting packaging equipment in conformance to specifications, safety, sanitation, and quality requirements. **Requirements for the position include** : + Plant maintenance experience or equivalent technical training. + Strong electrical experience along with hydraulics and pneumatics. + PLC experience is a plus. + Must have math and mechanical aptitude. + Excellent communication and organizational skills. + Must be able to speak, read and write English + Must possess High School diploma or equivalent **Physical Requirements** + Must have full range of motion and be able to lift 50 pounds + Must be able to tolerate allergen exposure to milk, cocoa and egg proteins. + Must be able to stand or walk for 80% of the workday. + Must have full range of motion and be able to bend, squat, climb and lift + Potential/Existing Hazards + Heat + Steam + Chemical (CIP compounds including Caustics, acids and chlorinated cleaners, ammonia) + Natural Gas + Compressed Air + Electricity Flexibility to work day and evening hours including weekends is required. **In return, Prairie Farms; will offer:** Competitive compensation $30.65/hr. $0.55 shift premium from 6 PM to 6 AM. + Teamsters pension benefits + Vacation/Personal/Holidays + Health Insurance & 401K + Health Spending Account + Night shift premium + Life Insurance _Prairie Farms is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
