The Plant Manager is responsible for all plant operations including safety, quality, materials planning and production, maintenance, manufacturing engineering, human resources and finance.  This role develops and implements organization strategy, programs and processes to assure achievement of targets for profitability and cost, operations metrics, asset management, quality, employee safety, and customer satisfaction.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

Skilled in strategic planning and the creation of strategic objectives and action plans to address short and long-term plant goals.  Responsible for developing, tracking and implementing strategic plans Fosters a strong safety culture which values employee engagement and open communication.  Supervise the daily operations of the Elyria Manufacturing Plant and provide strong leadership to the plant management team. Strong proponent of lean manufacturing, 5S and visual management.  Assures that the plant quality management system is effective, and that customer satisfaction is highly valued Assure development and execution of sound manufacturing plans that achieve high levels of on-time delivery  Lead the development of initiatives to improve speed and response to changes in demand to sustain high on-time delivery performance Monitor plant capacity and develop and implement appropriate actions to meet forecasted growth Drive operational excellence/ Lean Manufacturing strategies to ensure continuous improvement plans are developed and implemented to support organizational goals of safety, quality, delivery, productivity, improved inventory turnover, and cost reduction    Lead development and ownership of annual and monthly financial plans, budgets and operating reports.  Lead planning and preparation of capital expenditure requests to assure ongoing operation of facility Lead systemic approach to workforce planning and succession planning, including identification and development of top talent. Support talent management through effective hiring, training, coaching, and development. Lead in accordance with the organization's established policies, procedures, and practices.

You maintain a positive demeanor and forward-thinking approach despite troubling circumstances or setbacks.   For This Role, You Will Need: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management or a related field; MBA is preferred Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in plant leadership, operations management or relevant manufacturing experience Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.  Must be comfortable presenting to executive level leadership. Demonstrated leadership, problem solving and conflict management skills Ability to handle critical information with confidentiality Demonstrated ability to motivate change  Legal authorization to work in the United States - sponsorship will not be provided for this role.  Our Offer To You:
