Plant Manager
Job Title: Plant Manager Job Description We are looking for a Plant Manager to support our team for a sprint project lasting roughly 3 months, with the possibility of extension. This role is less technical than a traditional TPM/PM position but requires manufacturing literacy to provide on-the-floor support when needed. Effective communication with internal management, customers, and supply chain partners is essential. Aerospace experience is highly preferred, with medical device experience as a suitable alternative. This on-site role requires someone who can contribute from day one. Although the master schedule will already be established, we welcome improvements and recommendations for process efficiency after a few weeks of running the program. Responsibilities + Lead day-to-day activities against an existing master schedule and process for supervisors to develop the daily and weekly schedule. + Support customer status calls and past due recovery plan meetings. + Ensure daily, weekly, and monthly shipping targets are met. + Provide support in a 100% Aerospace Composite production and testing facility. + Work closely with 3 supervisors, 25 production staff, 2 manufacturing engineers, and 1 planner/customer service/purchasing staff. + Collaborate with strong peers in Engineering, Quality, and Finance Management. + Support customer status calls, recovery plans, and continuous process improvements. Essential Skills + 5-10 years of experience in manufacturing or plant management roles. + Experience in aerospace manufacturing. + Proficiency in master scheduling. + Strong communication skills with internal management, customers, and supply chain partners. + Experience with process improvement and quality assurance. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in the medical device manufacturing sector as a backup to aerospace experience. + No specific degree requirement. Work Environment The role is based on-site at an engineering floor in Everett, WA. This is a small, 50-person aerospace parts supplier specializing in composite parts, exteriors, and other small components. The company prides itself on a family-oriented culture and offers the opportunity to own a significant portion of the product lifecycle. The company is poised for growth and is not impacted by the Boeing strikes.
