The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading all aspects of the manufacturing plant including Operations, Engineering, Quality, Demand Management, and all other functional areas. Will set strategy for plant and work closely with all key stakeholders, including executive leadership, sales, customers, mold/machinery makers, and suppliers to lead and grow the business. This key leader will ensure organizational objectives are met with a keen focus on safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

Supervisor Responsibilities:
*Recruit, interview, hire, and train new staff in the department.
*Mentor and guide direct reports.
*Oversee the daily workflow of the direct reports.
Specific Responsibilities:
*Create and maintain a high-performing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and innovation.
*Plan, develop, and implement operational policies and goals to ensure the organization operates at peak productivity and profitability.
*Monitor quality and plant performance, including cost and efficiencies, to meet and improve operational goals.
*Work closely with division leadership on quoting new business and managing plant financials.
*Lead cross functional plant management staff with a focus on coaching, development, and performance management.
*Conduct regular communication meetings with employees to ensure clear, open dialogue.
*Maintain a safe work environment for all employees while complying with all local, state, and federal safety and environmental regulations and company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
*Utilize 80/20 principles to identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities and set goals.
*Forecast capital equipment, departmental costs, and other financial requirements.
*Manage the process for new or replacement equipment as necessary, including selection, sourcing, and procurement.
*Direct and manage manpower planning and activities to best utilize production capacity, closely monitoring and adjusting, when necessary, to meet customer needs.
*Design and implement systems to improve the quality of service by designing for manufacturability.
*Provide guidance in problem-solving to improve product quality and service, including the optimization of processing techniques, tool maintenance, equipment, and facilities.
*Partner with corporate functional management to identify resources when additional support is needed.
