WHAT YOU WILL DO
The plant manager oversees all daily operation of Quzhou plant, which will start production in Q3 of 2026 and supply Purolite resin products to China domestic and global markets, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality and productivity. This role is responsible for coordinating and directing all activities to ensure the plant operates at maximum efficiency while meeting company /country standards and goals.Assist China SC Director to ensure smooth plant start-up, and safety compliance against China and Ecolab S.H.E policies and regulations.Be responsible for directing, coordinating, and managing the overall plant operation.Achieve product objectives at the lowest cost with consistent quality while ensure compliance with industry standards, environmental regulations and health & safety guidelines. Oversee hiring, training, performance management and talent management of plant staff in partnership with HRManage plant budget and performance metrics, and control production costs consistent with the annual budget for plant labor and overhead.Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations to meet the expectations from internal and external customersPartner with Quality to implement Purolite Global Quality System.Implement TPM across the plantFoster a diversified, inclusive and high performance cultureCommitted to talent development, building a factory of talents through buying external talents and building from withinMaintain good relationships with local government and with local communityMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree holder, major in Chemical Engineering, Engineering, Sciences or Supply Chain management will be preferred.15 years of management experience in the chemical manufacturing industries; at least 5 years in a senior plant management role.Successful experience in developing and leading a cross functional team of professional and technical staff.Lean, 6sigma, TPM knowledge preferred.Effective communication skill in both Chinese and English.Proven track record of building and leading a high performing organizationDemonstrated success in managing complexityMature self-starter, who is resourceful and results driven; Highly agile and adaptable in styles and approaches depending on situations.Effective communicator and listener.
