Job Description
The Plant Manager is responsible for project management, labor force utilization, process troubleshooting and leadership to the production, maintenance, engineering and warehouse team to drive continuous improvement in the plant.
ResponsibilitiesEvaluate, direct, and coordinate plant production, operations, and personnel. This role involves monitoring production and facility equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations, analyzing reports for optimal plant operation, and leading improvement projects using Six Sigma practices.Monitor production and facilities equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.Analyze production, maintenance, and inventory reports to ensure optimal plant operation.Lead new design and corrective action implementation projects and provide continuous improvement ideas via Six Sigma practices.Troubleshoot electrical and controls related issues for equipment and facilities.Provide engineering technical support across departments, including PLC code, electrical controls, process, and warehouse equipment.Manage employee work schedules for workforce optimization.Write procedures to ensure proper processes are followed.Direct preventive maintenance and safety programs.Perform every aspect of the job following safety rules and policies.Ensure adherence to company policy with verbal or written warnings.Perform other related duties as assigned.Essential SkillsPlant management and manufacturing planning and scheduling.Project management skills.Supervisory and management experience.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor’s degree or four to ten years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.Skill in responding effectively to sensitive inquiries and writing speeches and articles using innovative techniques.Capability to make persuasive presentations on complex topics to management, public groups, and boards of directors.Advanced mathematical skills, including concepts such as exponents, logarithms, quadratic equations, permutations, and operations involving frequency distribution, test reliability/validity, variance analysis, correlation technique, sampling theory, and factor analysis.Strong reasoning skills to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.Proficiency in interpreting technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and dealing with abstract and concrete variables.Competence with Microsoft Office.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $150000.00 - $165000.00
