What You'll Do:
The site manager is responsible for leading the LZAM site to support business requirement, operations management and performance requirement and objectives.
What We're Looking For:
Establish and promote a plant culture that is responsive to the manufacturing environment and business needs through teamwork and personal accountability that includes a true belief that safety is a core value. Develop and execute annual operating plan of site based on business AOP and operations functional requirement. Manage the site annual operations planning and management such as objectives setting, budgeting, capital planning, performance review, organization planning, talent review and engagement. Manage the manufacturing performance of the site including: HSES, Quality, Delivery, Costs, Capital, Continuous improvement, Asset efficiency, and Organization development. Continuously improve and implement operations functional excellence management system by working with operations COE functions such as HSE, Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Operations Excellence, etc. Ensure establishment of Lubrizol systems and procedures that support HSE&S, operations, HR and finance programs and goals. Build strong relationships throughout operations to ensure teams are well connected and focused on delivering product to customers on time. Be highly connected and communicative with supply chain, procurement & manufacturing technology. Act as a partner and build strong relationship related business and commercial teams with a business driven and one team collaborative approach. Manage, lead, coach and develop the team and organization.
Performance Measures of Plant Manager:
HSE: LTIR, TRIR, Process Safety Incident, Environmental violation case, Risk reduction closure, HPI engagement rate Production: Production schedule compliance Delivery (Joint with Supply chain): On time deliver as promised; On time delivery as requested. Quality: Product Quality complaints; Manufacturing No conforming material rate Equipment: PM On time completion; Overall Equipment Effectiveness Finance: Operations Expense, Capital expense Project: Execution on time, quality, within budget People: Headcount management, talent review, organization development, engagement
Skills That Make a Difference:
Bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering, chemistry, polymer, material, or relevant engineering field, advanced degree in engineering or MBA is a plus. Minimum 10 years manufacturing leadership in the chemical or relevant industry Successful track record in career development in manufacturing or engineering functions Experienced at driving team development and performance, ensuring a high level of employee engagement. Knowledge of batch and continuous chemical processing experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) regulated processes. Strong communication (written, verbal, and listening) and networking skills. Self-motivated, sense of urgency, attention to detail Lean/Six Sigma experience, Green Belt Certification is a plus.
