Job Description
Responsible for the overall operation of the fabrication shop, production activities, and quality. The position is responsible for directing, coordinating, and controlling all aspects of this shop location and its staff while demonstrating the primary goal of efficiently providing quality steel fabrication services.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop and manage budget for shop operations, ensure proper staffing, and ensure shops are properly furnished with well-maintained equipment.Ensure the master production schedule is updated and accurate at all times.Develop strategic plans for each project to ensure safety, timeliness, quality, and profitability.Coordinate shop efforts for procuring supplies, tools, and equipment.Ensure timely procurement of long lead buyout items.Review manpower, equipment, and project reports for costs and schedule; allocate resources, review progress, and make necessary adjustments.Ensure industry standards (AISC, AWS, SSPC, etc.) are maintained and understood by all relevant employees.Essential SkillsFabricationOperationProductionWeldingManufacturing processContinuous improvementRepairLean manufacturingAdditional Skills & QualificationsStrong focus on safety and training for the shop and all personnelWhy Work Here?

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $100000.00/yr.
