Requirements:
Bachelor of Engineering or BTech in Chemical Engineering Civil and Mechanical Engineering degrees will be considered depending on relevant experience. A minimum of 3 - 5 years of experience in advanced water treatment. Experience with reverse osmosis, ultrafiltration, precipitation, and clarification will be an advantage. Previous experience in managing staff is beneficial. Understanding of plant health and management of water treatment assets. Proven record of satisfactory prior performance. Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, database management, PowerPoint, and email. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Skills in planning, attention to detail, and process troubleshooting. Ethical and responsible behavior. Innovative and accountable. Client management skills. Responsibilities, but not limited to:
Oversee and manage the respective Plant Supervisor(s) and Production and Maintenance teams within the area of responsibility. Manage the utilization and performance/output of the production and maintenance teams. Ensure that plant performance complies with contractual quality and quantity Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). Adhere to company and client safety standards. Take accountability for safety performance in accordance with the Mine Health and Safety Act (MHSA) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) legal requirements. Maintain effective administration and control procedures to meet performance objectives, including financial control, human resources and industrial relations, procurement, and stock management. Drive continuous improvement and optimization of processes. Implement and maintain financial control with Profit and Loss accountability for the plant(s). Monitor and maintain detailed records and reports on all aspects of processes and ongoing projects. Ensure efficient resource management of employees to meet performance objectives. Ensure client satisfaction by delivering professional and high-quality service. Conduct client feedback meetings and reporting as required. Compile plant reports and attend client meetings as necessary. Monitor plant health and proactively intervene to optimize plant availability. Provide effective reporting to the Operations Manager of the area. Perform plant operational standby duties.
