**Eaton’s Aerospace Group – Fluid and Electrical Distribution (FED)** is currently seeking a site executive to lead our Middlesex, NC manufacturing site. Our Aerospace Group exceeds $3B in sales and employs over 11k employees across 41 global sites.
Our Middlesex site employs over 100 employees across 4 shifts. The site manufactures bulk hose for specific routings to optimize fuel transfer throughout aircrafts. Our tubing provides a range of pressure capabilities and is composed of Teflon, aluminum, stainless steel, yarn, and/or silicone in varying wall thicknesses. Operations include PTFE Extrusion, Braiding, Quality Test and Shipping/Receiving. Middlesex, North Carolina is conveniently located near Raleigh-Durham-Chapel Hill area which has been rated a top location to live in the U.S. Relocation assistance is available.
Eaton **Plant Managers** are responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership. They drive profit and loss, growth strategy and organizational direction to meet and exceed short and long-term business goals. Our leaders will foster an environment of engagement and inclusion for all employees and act with advocacy, empathy, and accountability.
**In this role you will:**
• Manage both operational leadership team and functional staff including Quality, Finance, Continuous Improvement, Environmental Health & Safety, Human Resources, Supply Chain, Engineering and Maintenance
• Act with analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills to drive Key Performance Indicators and accountability
• Emphasize utilization of continuous improvement Lean/Six Sigma manufacturing tools (Kaizen, VSM, 5S+) to lead cost improvement analysis and implement actionable, measurable plans
• Champion a workplace focused on Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) to drive a zero-incident safety culture
• Foster a Quality culture of early detection and escalations across the site to reduce cost, drive efficiency and ensure compliance
• Partner with Human Resources to drive talent management, learning, communication, and development strategies to ensure employee engagement through positive employee relations
**Qualifications:**
• Minimum of (7) seven years of experience with progressive levels of accountability and responsibility in roles focused on Manufacturing, Supply Chain, OPEX and/or related functions in a manufacturing/production environment
• Minimum (3) three years of direct leadership experience developing high performing teams
• Lean Six Sigma and/or continuous improvement experience
• An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution
• Authorized to work in the US now and in the future without company sponsorship
• This position requires use of information or access to hardware which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). **Preferred Qualifications:**
• Aerospace industry experience
• Current or prior plant management experience
• Prior P&L ownership demonstrating business acumen and strategic mindset
• Demonstrated experience in leading successful continuous improvement projects and kaizens, including the use of structured problem solving, lean manufacturing, and six sigma tools
• Demonstrated experience with financial concepts and techniques utilized to establish value propositions of operational changes
• Demonstrated experience with Supply Chain Management operational concepts; for example, production planning, scheduling, purchasing, supplier selection, inventory control, logistics, stockroom operations, and shipping/receiving
• MBA degree
