Job Description
Wages: $32.24-$40.69 (based on qualifications)
Principle Duties:
Ascertain that equipment is running efficiently and producing quality products and packagesRepair and maintain any and all equipment and systems as requiredPerform preventative maintenance on plant & warehouse equipment, machinery, and systems as requiredMust cooperate with the equipment operators and other plant, warehouse, and maintenance employeesIs responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the equipment on which he works and the safety of those operating itOther duties as assigned by managementWill be required to relieve as the manager deems necessaryMinimum Requirements:
Minimum of 3 years maintenance experience in a high speed machinery environment (preferably dairy)Previously worked with the principals of mechanical (hydraulic and air) and electrical machinesKnowledge in refrigeration machinery / equipmentPrior experience of ammonia refrigeration a plusKnowledge of boiler operation and mechanicsAbility to lift and carry up to 75 lbs.Perform the following physical behaviors repetitively throughout a shift: standing, walking, handling, reaching horizontally, reaching above the shoulder, reaching below waist, grasping firmly, pushing buttons, bending, stooping, squatting, crouching, kneeling, pulling and pushingPush/pull a manual pallet fork truck, up to 1000 ponds and/or ability to operate an electric fork truckAbility to work in cold and damp environmentsClimb ladders of varying heights and perform various functions while on the ladderAbility to withstand noisy environmentsPossess and maintain a valid drivers’ licenseBenefits Offered:
