Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Plant Operation Supervisor to join our team in Sumner, WA.

**What You Will Get to Do:**
+ Plant-level safety leadership and accountability.
+ Crew leadership, direction, coaching, and development.
+ Operational continuous improvement opportunity recognition.
+ Focused oversight of batching/maintenance operations.
+ Plant plan development and execution in conjunction with the plant leadership team.
+ Reports day-to-day progress of operations to the Operations manager.
+ Critical repair parts inventory management.
+ Mobile equipment and fixed plant repair scheduling in conjunction with the plant leadership team.
+ Execution of production plans in conjunction with the plant leadership team.
+ Follow and ensure compliance with corporate guidelines, federal regulations, and site-specific procedures.
+ Complete special projects as assigned by plant leadership.
**Essential Experience and Skills:**
+ High School Diploma or GED Certificate is required.
+ Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
+ Excellent conflict resolution skills.
+ _Must possess the ability to adjust quickly & calmly to changing circumstances and situations._
+ Demonstrated ability to impact safe working practices.
+ Ability to communicate clear and concise instructions in a professional manner.
+ Prior supervisory or demonstratable leadership experience in cement/concrete industry.
+ Excellent organization and time management skills.
+ Ability to follow instructions, gather data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

**Physical Requirements & Work Environment:**
+ Ability to operate a variety of office equipment and computer systems; visual acuity required to read, verify, and enter various data from documents related to the work.
+ Work is conducted in the field and office. Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
+ Ability to work Saturdays and on an occasional Sunday if needed.
+ Have the ability and desire to work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
+ Ability to lift 50 pounds to chest height.
+ Ability to climb ladders, ascend stairs and walk on uneven surfaces.
+ Must be able to hear and communicate with others.
