In particular, you will:
- Learn and understand hazards of various gases, size and contents of cylinders by reading and interpreting cylinder labels and the color-coding of tanks.
- Accurately label cylinders and boxes.
- Comply with Training, safety programs, OSHA, and all related rules, regulations, procedures which are applicable to this position's responsibilities.
- Movement of cylinders as required in the plant. Ability to lift 50 pounds.
- Completes all documentation and forms in compliance with cGMP policy and FDA requirements during the fill process.
- Maintains a neat, clean and orderly workplace through proper housekeeping procedures.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining sufficient stock to meet customer demand.
- Adheres to all quality assurance policies and standards.
- Reports accidents including near misses, unsafe acts or conditions and obeys safety rules.
- Able to operate hydraulic and pneumatic equipment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Able to work independently.
- Good reading and writing skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good math skills.
- Fills cylinders, high and low pressure, in accordance with safety procedures and quality.
- Able to operate a forklift.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
