Job Description Job Description We are looking for Plant & Process Engineer Interns to join our 2024 summer internship program in Aurora, MO! Responsibilities/daily duties: + Understand capital project requirements, stakeholder alignment & management, project scoping, ROI calculations, and contractor management + Successfully contribute to process improvement efforts that lead to improvement of standard metrics including yield, productivity, or other sound performance metrics + Process flow & design, Material & Energy Balance, Asset Management, and PM’s + Provide process engineering support for significant changes in processing methods and product manufacturing troubleshooting Requirements: + Degree: Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Mechatronics, and/or Electrical Engineering degree. + Previous experience: Any factory, manufacturing, or industrial experience in a fast-paced environment As an EBI intern, you will: + Work on robust projects that prepare you for a full-time opportunity after graduation + Solve real-world challenges alongside industry experts + Receive competitive pay for your contributions + Showcase your project outcomes to leadership at the end of the summer + Participate in career discussions + Socialize through teambuilding and networking events + Learn more about career opportunities across our businesses AFB International is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
