While reporting to the Plant Manager as the Plant Quality Manager (PQM), you will be responsible for providing leadership to the plant in the area of maintaining and improving the quality systems as prescribed by the Plant & Corporation. Duties include management of change control, data collection schemes, test methods & equipment, standard instructions, audits, manuals, and other routine quality systems areas. The PQM I also must direct the activities of hourly quality staff when applicable. Other duties include training plant personnel in quality processes; facilitating improvement teams; managing compliance to specifications; and acting as product safety team leader, if applicable. In addition, Plant Quality Managers must serve as the point of contact with customers for product or service quality.
What you’ll be doing:
Management of change control, data collection schemes, test methods & equipment, standard instructions, audits, manuals, and other routine quality systems areas.
The PQM also must direct the activities of hourly quality staff when applicable.
Train plant personnel in quality processes; facilitating improvement teams; managing compliance to specifications; and acting as product safety team leader.
Independently manages customer interactions as it relates to product or service quality.
Participate on teams and lead efforts toward continuous improvement initiatives within the plant.
Generate scorecards and reports for all aspects of plant quality, not limited to and including VOC, CARs, SCARs, COAs, on-time and in-full deliveries, SPC reporting, losses, product safety, internal, third party & customer audits and change control processes.
Conducts advanced statistical analysis and process capabilities for process and product quality.
Identify, define and promote awareness of customer requirements for the plant.
Skill at building harmonious relationships with others.
Skill at conveying trust in others as well as causing them to feel that one can also be trusted.
Manufacturing leadership, engineering, continuous improvement experience (TPM, Lean, Six Sigma, etc.).
Strong technical aptitude and the ability to grasp a general knowledge of division specific manufacturing disciplines, financials, and technologies.
Work with Plant Manager to identify correct metrics and stretch goals for plant, ensuring balance of forward progress and realistically achievable targets.
Assist in strategic planning, special project assignments.
Mentors and supports Lean-Six Sigma, DMAIC and TPM processes as needed.
This position is located at our Greenville, Wisconsin facility.

This is a progression position and could be a level I or II. Compensation and progression level will be based on candidate’s experience and education, and current business needs.
Compensation:
