We are currently looking for a Plant Services Coordinator for our local manufacturing facility. In this role you will provide administrative support to the assigned location’s operations and human resources activities by supporting the Unit Manager, administering Operation’s activities, dependent complexity/size of operations, employee relations and recognition programs; Quality Management Systems; employee communications; general administrative tasks, and Human Resource initiative
Provides administrative support to the assigned location’s operations and human resources activities. Greets guests and prepare badges, passes, parking permit, and identification cards, and perform other security-related duties, as applicable. Maintains administration of operation’s phone system, message system and employee directory database. Makes photocopies, faxes documents and performs other clerical functions. Supports the Unit Manager to ensure plant operations are in continual compliance with regulatory requirements and MAPEI administrative policies / directives. Participates in daily production meetings, providing activity updates to Unit Managers and functional managers concerning personnel activity (ex., attendance issues, open position status, interview status, separating employees, employment relations issues). Participates in periodic Human Resources Status Update Meetings via teleconference. Supports the Unit Manager to ensure plant operations are in continual compliance with regulatory requirements and MAPEI administrative policies / directives. Supports MAPEI’s On-boarding Program, as required. Acts as an informational source and point of reference to new hires during their full orientation period. Supports hiring manager and new hire towards assuring new hire is made welcome, including functional contacts, supplies, equipment, connectivity (computer access, cell phones, as applicable). Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Conform with and abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures, safety rules and instructions.What's in it for you
