PLANT SUPERINTENDENT – 3rd SHIFT
FLINT, MI PLANT
The Plant Superintendent is responsible for the overall management of the plant operations, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. They supervise the daily activities to ensure high performance and production standards are met.
This role is part of the Production Department and reports to the Production Manager.
The Role:
Your work will include, but not be limited to:
Enforces health, safety, and environmental regulations. The Plant Superintendent supports and promotes the company's policies and applicable laws. Directs and coordinates the activities of Team Coaches/Specialists who supervise production employees. The Plant Superintendent are responsible for the training and development of supervisors and team members. They ensure that all team members receive progressive training to enable them to assume additional responsibilities. They are responsible for developing new ideas and methods to improve operational performance and improve product quality.

Your Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS); three years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient Computer skills Willingness to rotate shifts
Bonus If You Have:
Automotive experience helpful but not required JIT and UAW experience is helpful but not required Possess knowledge of ISO14001, OSHA, and TS16949 requirements and compliance. LEAN manufacturing experience helpful but not required
