Plant Overview:

The Kraft Heinz Massillon factory is engaged in the manufacture of frozen food products, most particularly, frozen dinner entrees, spinach dip, and kids’ meal under the brand name of Smart Ones, Smart Made, Devour, Kraft, TGI Fridays and Crave.  All items produced are frozen and under strict supervision of FDA, ODA, two (2) on-site federal USDA inspectors, and company quality inspectors.  The Massillon, Ohio factory currently employs approximately 370 salaried, non-union hourly and union hourly employees.  The Union hourly workers are represented by Local 880 of the United Food & Commercial Workers Union.

The factory currently operates production lines on day and afternoon shifts.  The midnight shift is dedicated to sanitation, maintenance and warehouse; disassembling, cleaning, completely sanitizing all production lines and equipment, and reassembling them in preparation for the next day’s production operation.  All products are micro-tested in the on-site Quality Assurance Laboratory.  The products manufactured at the Massillon factory are distributed throughout the United States and Canada through retail and warehouse club outlets.

Job Summary/Purpose:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to administrative duties supporting the Continuous Improvement Manager.  The Plant Systems Coordinator will operate along the lines of standard work as determined by production leadership and must be flexible to change as we run the business while we are transforming the business.

Essential Responsibilities

Support production with the implementation of lean projects and process improvements Assist Trio’s (Process Owners, and CI Leads) with all KHMS & CI projects (KAIZEN, Line Balancing, 5s, MUV improvement) as needed Assisting CI to determine system improvements and implementation of new technical processes or the plant Work with the Process Trio’s to Build dashboards for new technical process as needed for specifications Help to define and improve our internal standards for style, maintainability, and best practices for a high-scale data infrastructure Expand our data warehouse with clean data ready for analysis Small analytics project delivery including initiation, planning, scope, budget and change request management Develop state-of-the art analytics tools using Power BI and Tableau Implement disruptive technologies (Tableau, Power BI, SQL, Python) focused on fundamentally transforming the way in which we operate Work with all teams to keep notification system up using Brightsign. Serve as an integral part of the Digital Revolution Continue to develop your skills by staying up to date on all the latest innovations and evolutions in the Business Intelligence community Support and promote quality processes and implementation of new or improved quality system programs Back up for CI Team Leaders as needed

Position Qualifications

Excellent computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft office suite, SAP, Quality Suites and Minitab. Standard mathematical & statistical skills, as well as an ability to perform accurate work and attention to detail.  Experience developing dashboards, reports, and scorecards with a strong user interface
