Actual compensation will depend on a candidate’s education, experience, skills, and geographic location.  The anticipated wage for this position is

Job Responsibilities:

To operate and monitor the equipment under the responsibility of the Utility area, such as boilers, cooling towers, water chillers, plant air compressors, emergency generators, re-heat packages, lift stations, vacuum systems, PW generation systems and WWTP systems.  The Utility operator will keep the supervisor (including the Shift Supervisor or Manager), informed of any anomaly or failure found in any of the area equipment. Observe, promote and comply with environmental, health/safety and quality requirements.

Education and Experience:

Bachelor’s or associate degree in industrial Mechanics, Electrical Expert, Electronics or Instrumentation.Plant Utilities Operator one (1) year of experience in related area.Have a Wastewater treatment plant and drinking water operating license, Opacity License (if required), Certification of use of motorized equipment.
