What the day will look like We are looking for experienced Plant and Equipment and/or Property Valuers to join our national Valuations team. Our Valuations business is a thriving, growing and innovative team of individuals who work collaboratively with our clients to value their tangible business assets. Our valuation insights are used to help our clients make better decisions and meet their insurance and accounting requirements. Undertake a broad range of property, infrastructure, plant & equipment valuations with a continued focus on proving accurate and timely valuations Deliver superior customer service and build and maintain long term relationship with valuation clients Provide an industry respected valuation service and advice to clients Performing valuation analysis, which is likely to include the analysis of large data sets and building valuation models Preparation and presentation of reports and outlining our approach, assumptions and conclusions Working across a broad range of tangible asset classes Valuing assets across different territories Working directly with clients on projects Operating alongside other Aon team members with a focus on our growing international valuation book Supporting and working alongside other senior team members in the development of new business in the sector, including preparation of proposals and pitches, thought leadership and identifying opportunities to add value for existing client engagements. Skills and experience that will lead to success To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following skills and experience: API or ASA accreditation An individual with a real passion and interest in valuing a wide range of tangible assets Exposure to conducting unsupervised asset valuations including research and the ability to access a variety of market information Experience completing valuations for multiple purposes including insurance, tax and accounting Customer focused and able to build strong relationships A clear and effective communicator Organised with a solution focused approach to work Strong Excel/Word skills Proven ability to deliver high quality written outputs (professional verbal and written English) Willingness to learn and take on responsibility Strong interpersonal skills and comfortable communicating at all levels Ability to work effectively in teams and to tight deadlines High level of attention to detail Willingness to travel for site and asset inspections (national/international) How we support our colleagues In addition to our comprehensive benefits package, we encourage a diverse workforce.
