Job Title: Planview Solution Architect
Type: Full-time / Contract
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Planview Solution Architect to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Planview solutions for enterprise portfolio and resource management. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Planview’s suite of products and possess strong analytical, technical, and leadership skills to align the tool with business objectives effectively.
Key Responsibilities
1. Solution Design and Architecture:
• Lead the design, configuration, and implementation of Planview solutions to meet business and portfolio management needs.
• Develop scalable architecture and frameworks for integrating Planview with enterprise systems.
• Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications and system designs.
2. Implementation and Configuration:
• Configure Planview modules, workflows, and user roles to align with organizational processes.
• Oversee system migration, upgrades, and performance optimization.
• Manage data integration between Planview and other enterprise tools such as ERP, CRM, and ITSM platforms.
3. Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:
• Work closely with business stakeholders, PMOs, IT teams, and vendors to ensure Planview aligns with strategic goals.
• Facilitate workshops and discussions to gather requirements and recommend best practices.
• Provide guidance to project teams and end users during implementation and post-go-live support.
4. System Optimization and Governance:
• Drive adoption of Planview best practices, including portfolio management, resource planning, and reporting.
• Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance within the Planview environment.
• Monitor system usage and performance, and propose improvements for scalability and efficiency.
5. Training and Support:
• Develop and deliver training sessions and documentation for end-users and administrators.
• Provide Level 3 support for troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Stay updated on Planview product releases and new features, and recommend upgrades when necessary.
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Management, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in portfolio/project management solutions, with at least 3 years in Planview implementation and administration.
• Expertise in Planview Enterprise One, Planview Portfolios, or Planview PPM Pro.
• Strong understanding of portfolio and resource management concepts and methodologies.
• Proven experience with integrations using APIs, middleware, or data platforms.
• Hands-on experience with reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) for Planview analytics.
• Knowledge of ITSM and Agile tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Azure DevOps.
Preferred Skills:
• Certification in Planview or related PPM solutions is a strong advantage.
• Experience in enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with Lean Portfolio Management and SAFe practices.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of data governance, security policies, and compliance standards.
