Job Description
Candidates will be responsible for a mixture of fabrication tasks in the fabrication shop, including setting up and operating a brake press, shear, drills, Plasma, and other equipment. They must be comfortable reading blueprints and cutting and welding metals according to specifications.
ResponsibilitiesOperate fabrication equipment such as brake press, drill press, and plasma table.Use hand, power, and pneumatic tools for assembly.Read blueprints and schematics for assembly directions.Grind welds to ensure smoothness.Conduct visual inspections of products to ensure they meet company standards.Operate basic bending or press machines.Use measuring tapes to verify product specifications.Lift up to 70 lbs and perform tasks that involve twisting, turning, and bending.Essential Skills6 months of fabrication experience, ideally with plasma or CNC.Ability to read blueprints and schematics.Proficiency in operating fabrication equipment such as brake press, drill press, and plasma table.Experience with hand, power, and pneumatic tools.Skills in grinding welds and performing visual inspections.Familiarity with basic bending or press machines.Use of measuring tapes for product specification verification.Additional Skills & QualificationsFabrication of sheet metal.CNC machine operating.Plasma cutting and laser operation.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
This is a dirty and hot environment. Candidates will be working in a welding area with a tarp up, within a small shop that includes about 7 welders in total. The physical demands include lifting up to 70 lbs and performing tasks that involve twisting, turning, and bending.
