Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Plastic Surgeon to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Kings County. The department of Surgery at Kings County Hospital handles over 5500 cases annually and averages about 480 cases per month as a Trauma 1 Center. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards.

Kings County is located in the East Flatbush/Prospect-Lefferts section of Brooklyn, close to the 2 and 5 subways. Our patients are diverse, with the majority being afro-Caribbean. Most of our patients are native English speakers. Knowledge of French/Haitian Creole is helpful, but not required.
The position work collaboratively and alongside other physicians and management of all plastic surgery patients in the Department.
Develop personalized treatment plans based on patients’ goals and medical conditions. Perform surgical procedures, including facelifts, breast augmentations, liposuction, rhinoplasty, reconstructive surgeries, hand surgery, burn care and other reconstructive procedures. Use advanced surgical techniques and tools to achieve optimal results and minimize risks. Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients’ recovery, prescribing medication, and addressing any complications or concerns. Educate patients about each procedure and risks, benefits, and potential outcomes. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as anesthesiologists and nurses, during surgical procedures. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of all patients interactions, treatments, and outcomes. Adhere to ethical standards and follow all applicable laws and regulations in plastic surgery.
