Qualifications:

 

 

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.) from an accredited institution (Required)

Preferred Qualifications:

Ability to lift 40 pounds Minimum of 1-year experience operating plastic injection machine General Manufacturing Experience Ability to effectively work AND communicate as part of a cell team

While not exposed to hazardous materials, this position requires wearing PPE (personal protection equipment). Following all basic safety precautions will reduce risk of potential injury. This position requires anywhere from light to moderate physical activity, such as walking, sitting, and standing for extended periods of time, as well as some lifting.

 

Job Description:

Under the supervision of the Production Area Lead, the Plastic Trimmer position is accountable for:

This position is responsible for removing flash from injected plastic pieces with the use of hand tools Using provided hand tools to remove flash from injected plastic pieces. Responsible for quality of the pieces you trim. Using provided hand tool to remove flash from injected plastic pieces. Meeting department production needs. Responsible for showing the supervisor first piece. Notify Leader or Manufacturing Mgr. of any plastic parts with defects and/or quality issues Visually inspect parts for various defects. Record production for labor reporting

Organization Location: 3960 S Marginal Rd, Cleveland, OH 44114

Choice of Shifts: All shifts are Monday – Friday

5 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. 6 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. 7 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Salary: $17 /hr.
