We have long been associated with many of the most significant advances in eye health, and we believe we are well positioned to continue leading the advancement of eye health in the future. **Objectives:** Support plastics and process activity for contact lens manufacturing operations including mold audit data review, continuity of supply, and maintenance of business functions. **Responsibilities:** 1. Lead engineering functions in support of contact lens manufacturing operations to maintain consistent molding utilization while reducing/minimizing mold audit yield loss. 2. Identification, selection, and installation of primary and secondary processing equipment. 3. Ability to troubleshoot tooling and process issues with established platforms. 4. Responsible for processes that consistently yields parts conforming to specifications. 5. Support tooling debug and trials. 6. Lead process qualifications and validations with generation of appropriate documentation. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor of Science in Plastics Engineering, with 2 years of engineering experience with injection molding processes or tooling preferred. Related engineering degree and 5 - 10 years hands on plastics processing and set up experience will be considered. + Demonstrated skills in injection mold tooling expertise, and tight tolerance process development and validation. Experience in direct support of manufacturing preferred. + Strong troubleshooting and analytical capabilities. + Experience with Minitab, Tableau, RJG, Design Software (SolidWorks) + Ability to communicate and work in cross-functional teams and without close supervision. Capable of working independently or on project teams a required. **This position may be available in the following location(s):** **[[location_obj]]** As required by New York State's pay transparency bill, Bausch + Lomb provides a good faith minimum and maximum salary range of compensation for roles that can or will be performed, in New York State. Actual compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. For New York State, the range of starting pay for this role is $72,000 - 110,000 annually.
