**Job Title: Plate Roller**
Sets up and operates plate roller on roll forming line to form longitudinal bends, rolls, and profiles. Candidate will set up, adjust digital dies, and operate machine to roll shell plate to required degrees. The brand of roller is an Adobe. The candidate will check degrees with a cut-out to ensure it is bent to specifications. Operates all secondary equipment associated with the roll forming process and operates overhead cranes to handle material. If a candidate has extensive fabrication machine operator experience and is willing to train to become a roller operator, they will be considered, though top pay will not be provided initially. The candidate needs to have the desire to run a new machine. Experience with press brakes, burn tables, band saws, iron workers, punches, spear burners, shears, pipe profilers, plate rollers, and angle rollers would be sufficient.
+ 2+ years experience operating a roll machine.
+ Experience rolling steel plate or angle iron.
+ Knowledge of roll form tooling and maintenance.
+ Ability to work with a variety of hand tools including angle grinders, drills, and polishers.
+ Ability to read blueprints and drawings.
The position involves working in a fabrication area and rig up yard with no air conditioning and a non-climate-controlled environment. You will start on day shift (6:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. Monday - Friday) for 10 months, then rotate to night shift (4:15 p.m. - 2:45 a.m. Monday - Friday) for 2-4 months with a $1.25 shift differential, and then return to days for 6-10 months. Be prepared to work 40-70 plus hours depending on the workload.
