**Job Title: Plater $21-28/hr - M-Th 6AM-4:30PM** **Job Description** This position is for an Aerospace job shop. The individual will work on the line and be responsible for plating. Responsibilities include assisting with getting the product ready by racking the fixtures and using a manual hoist to move fixtures from one anodizing bath to the next. There are a total of 8 tanks on each side. A timer will be used to ensure each fixture remains in the plating tank for the appropriate duration. The plating tanks contain different acid solutions to create various anodic coatings. The company is NADCAP certified for aluminum anodizing, meeting criteria for corrosion protection and electrical conductivity. **Responsibilities** + Assist with prepping, racking, and packaging of parts. + Handle each job from start to finish. + Use a manual hoist to move fixtures between anodizing baths. + Ensure fixtures stay in the plating tank for the correct amount of time. + Work with acid solutions to create anodic coatings. **Essential Skills** + 1+ years of experience as an Anodizing Line Operator. + Stable work history. + Good math skills (basic addition and subtraction). + Good hand strength and dexterity. + Ability to read and write. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + Experience with plating, anodizing, and passivation. + Familiarity with crane operations, specifically overhead cranes. + Experience with chemical handling and racking processes. **Why Work Here?** The company is a family-owned business that promotes from within and offers a review at 45 days for a potential raise. **Work Environment** The work environment is very clean and well-lit.
