Role Summary & Role Description
Platform Engineering is looking for an Automation & IaC Lead. You will be working with the Platform Engineering Director of IaC helping to change the way Infrastructure is done in the Bank. This is a transformation role where we are taking the old way of doing Infrastructure and starting again with an Automation first mindset and software engineering principles. You will be enabling a multi-cloud framework, creating one which is resilient, customer driven and Self-Service. You will join a team of curious analytical people with diverse set of perspectives who are thinking big and not afraid to try new things. In this environment you will take on the relevant projects, supported by an organization that provides the support and mentorship you need to learn and grow. As a lead you will be focused on building automation solutions, turning the infrastructure into deployable code.
We expect the right candidate to have 18+ years of experience in declarative software engineering role with adequate firsthand experience in designing and implementing software. Experience in creating chatbots, automated tools and excellent API integration knowledge.
What you will be responsible for:-
Lead the Design, Implementation and Run Time of the Multi-cloud provisioning framework
Design and code new Automation products leading a diverse set of engineers to deliver Products from Cradle to Grave
Lead and Educate Agile squads on Agile SCRUM and KANBAN where the best Agile Framework fits.
Collaborate and work as one with the product group helping to turn product strategy into Prototypes and MVP’s
Work with a mindset of self-service to our Customers
Develop automation tools for efficient, noiseless alerting, toil, and technical dept.
Conduct performance tests and document and/or identify application optimization solutions.
Perform analytics on previous incidents and usage patterns to better predict issues and take proactive actions
Logging, Metrics and Alerting - managing and organizing an on-call schedule connected to metrics and log events.
Participate in the 24x7 support coverage as needed
Understanding of database structure, algorithms, and processes
Familiar with design pattern

Problem-solving and analytical skills

Knowledge of non-functional aspects of the app/product such as security, automation, testing, performance, optimization
Leadership and resource management skills
You will Lead – Compute (Windows & Unix), VMC, VMC on AWS Engineering & Operations and also be responsible for migrations of on-prem migration to cloud and automating it.

Working Model - 4 days Work From Office
Schedule – 3 pm to 12 am or 2 to 11 pm IST
