About the role:
As a member of the Process Excellence team, you are designing and leading the technology’s platforms to create synergy between sites. These technology platforms result in significant improvements in driving Process manufacturing efficiency.
Key responsibilities:
Take the lead to facilitate knowhow and knowledge sharing within a group of process engineers in all the regions Own (set,improve,maintain) the global process operating standard in the technology platform field of expertise Mobilize the team members from all sites ensuring that best practices are captured, standards are defined and learning material is developed Ensure technology platform cohesion, making each member included Manage resources allocation per technology platform topics and bridges with other technology’s platforms. Tracks the progress of the technology platform plan and outcomes and reports out to Process Excellence leaders and cross functional teams. Close relationships with Process Excellence to build the technology platform outcomes roll out plan Own the administration of the digital platform (Process Portal, Poka, others) as a single source of truth for roll out. Easy access for all employees. Guide the technology platform members along the way in the realization of the community objectives and priorities Secure the visibility of the technology platform successes and activities to the internal BC stakeholders (site managers, stream leaders,...) Responsability to make global process standard didactic, understandable for roll out Taking the lead on some working group within the technology platform Responsibility to follow and report technology platform kpi : activity level and value delivery point of views You lead and organize technology platform virtual/physical event Contribute to elevate the process knowledge of the technology platform members Ensure that members help each other on a daily basis, ad-hoc Guide the technology platform applying CI Way of working Lead her/his technology platform roadmap Maintain the benchmark file of the technology platform Process control related, act as a problem-solving support for the networkAbout you:
You have a Master degree in Chemical Engineering, Bioscience-engineering, Chemistry or Physics with a first professional experience (3-5 years) in food production; Background as process engineer controller is a plus Knowledge of standard software (excel, word, powerpoint, google drive); Lean manufacturing and 6 sigmas education is a plus Experience in the food or process industry is preferred, manufacturing experience a must. You have a broad interest in sharing experience and set standards You have interest to set working methodologies You are fluent in English, knowledge of other languages is advantage as you need to communicate in an international context You have continuous improvement skills : method and mindset You are able to scale a best practice into a standard as well as describing operational guidelines. You can focus on your own responsibilities, while being able to work in multi-disciplinary teams (R&D, Continuous improvement, Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain) You can communicate effectively to different stakeholders (from shop floor till management) You can act as a leader in a cross functional function You can act as a leader to set priorities Expert himself of the community scope is not mandatory Good communication skills (English is a must) Coaching attitude in a cross functional mode Leader or leader in becoming Forward thinking, solution oriented and entrepreneur Results driven Shopfloor oriented
